Privacy Policy
This policy covers emailforrestaurants.com. It is written to be read, not to be skipped. If anything here is unclear, [ask us](/contact/) and we will explain it.

What we collect
If you just read the site: nothing. There is no login, no account, no newsletter sign-up, and no comment system. We do not build a profile of you for reading one page.
If you email us: your email address and whatever you write, so we can reply. We keep it for as long as it takes to deal with your question, and we do not add you to any mailing list.
If you use the free generator: the restaurant name, cuisine or neighborhood, and guest first name you type in are used in your browser to build the email, and are sent nowhere. They are not stored on our servers and we cannot see them.
If you subscribe to a newsletter (if we ever have one): your email address, and we would tell you before you signed up exactly what would be sent and how often.
Cookies and analytics
We run a self-hosted OpenPanel instance to count page views, referrers, and screen views. The analytics server is operated by us, at analytics.coloringdaily.com; your data is never shared with an ad network, and we do not run it on any third-party service.
What that means in practice:
- The analytics script is served from our own server, not from a tracking vendor.
- It records the page you viewed, the page that referred you, and coarse screen dimensions. It does not record form contents, email addresses, or anything you type into the generator.
- It stores an anonymous visitor identifier in your browser so it can tell new visitors from returning ones. That identifier is a random string, it is not linked to your identity, and you can clear it at any time by clearing site data for this domain.
- The email generator runs entirely in your browser. The restaurant name and guest name you type are used to build the email on your own device and are never transmitted to us.
We do not run Google Analytics. There is no Google analytics script on this site.
Advertising. This site may run advertising served by Google. If it does, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and you can read Google’s how it uses data from sites and apps that use its services. We never run advertising on the software comparison page, and never inside a comparison.
Third-party links
This site links to software vendors, and to a few other places. Those are other companies with their own privacy policies, and we have no control over them. When you click a link, you are on their site, not ours.
Affiliate relationships
We do not have any. This site does not earn a commission if you sign up for anything we link to, and no vendor has paid to be on these pages. That is deliberate: it means the ranking on the comparison page has nothing to do with who paid the most.
Your rights (GDPR, CCPA and similar)
If you are in the EU, the UK, California or anywhere else with privacy law, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you
- correct it
- delete it
- object to how we use it
- get a portable copy of it
We will answer within 30 days, usually much faster, and we do not charge for it. If you have asked us to email you and you want to stop, every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link, and that is enough — you do not need to email us.

Children
This site is for people who run restaurants. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect any information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will update the date at the top and, for anything material, note it on the page itself.
